PREP CROSS COUNTRY: Cullman’s boys win title at Bob Jones Friendly First Chance

Cullman’s varsity boys cross country team sped to a first-place finish (Class 6A-7A) at the Bob Jones Friendly First Chance on Saturday.

Troy Adkison (second), William Nichols (third), Andrue Barnett (fifth), Nicholas Wood (10th) and Harold Sheffield (17th) provided the counting times in the 2.1-mile race.

Fairview’s Alex England, meanwhile, finished runner-up in the Class 1A-5A competition.
