The Cullman County School System will delay opening for two hours on Thursday due to the possible effects of Hurricane Zeta.

Cullman County School Superintendent Shane Barnette announced the delay in an all-call to parents Wednesday afternoon.

The hurricane, which has made landfall in Louisiana, has the chance to produce severe weather across Alabama overnight and into Thursday morning.
