COVID-19 poses an threat to a sector of the economy that employs more than 15 million Americans. Because dine-in meals are no longer being served at most restaurants, delivery and pick-up are the only ways to support these businesses.
Support local restaurants Tuesday by participating in The Great American Takeout. Diners are encouraged to order delivery or takeout for at least one meal Tuesday to help support local restaurants. Share a photo on social media with the tag #thegreatamericantakeout and be sure to share with The Cullman Times on Facebook and Twitter. And don’t forget to tip.
Ms. Senior Cullman County cancelled
The Ms. Senior Cullman County pageant, scheduled for Saturday, April 18, has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Organizers hope to reschedule for a later time. For more information, call Pageant Director Angie Carter at 256-734-1241.
Spirit Life Church of God has moved services online. Find the church at the Facebook group Spirit Life Church of GOD.
Services are Sunday, 11 a.m.; Sunday, 6 p.m.; and Wednesday, 6:30 p.m. All will be available for later viewing for those who cannot tune in to the live stream.
