Saturday’s perfect weather set the scene for a cheery crowd and lengthy Christmas caravan along U.S. Highway 31 in Hanceville, where the 30th annual Cullman County Christmas Parade brought out the crowds.

Alabama Secretary of State John Merrill led as Grand Marshal for this year’s parade, which put locally-sponsored floats and high school bands in front of candy-seeking kids (and grown-ups) along the U.S. 31 route between Wallace State and downtown Hanceville.
