In the spirit of one of the South’s great football season pastimes, the Cullman Regional Service Guild is rolling Tailgate & Celebrate in October.
A fundraiser that will go toward purchasing a new ambulance for Cullman Emergency Medical Services, the event will kick off at 6 p.m., Oct. 12 at Water Willow.
RSVP by Oct. 9 with a donation of $50 per individual will secure your reservation.
The dinner is designed for a casual evening with fellowship and football games as entertainment. Large television screens will be showcasing football games throughout the event, and an ever-popular cornhole tournament is in the night’s plans.
“Don’t miss out on the opportunity to be a part of this fun-filled event while also supporting your local hospital,” said Lindsay Harrison, Service Guild president.
The Cullman Regional Foundation recently announced that it’s annual golf tournament raised about $100,000 toward the ambulance purchase. The tailgate event and others in the near future are expected to round out the cost to provide the new ambulance with state-of-the-art equipment for the emergency medical responders.
“Our community has been so generous in responding to this project. We hope everyone will continue to join in these fun events as we work toward providing something that will benefit residents all over our area,” added Maria Stanford, director of Cullman Regional Foundation.
