The nationwide Jeep Jamboree USA circuit is making its traditional stop in Cullman County this weekend, as the heavily-followed event returns for a two-day stay at Stony Lonesome OHV Park.
An annual favorite among outdoor adventure enthusiasts, a host of visitors and their Jeeps are expected for the event, which kicks off this Friday (Sept. 13) and continues all day Saturday (Sept.14). Registration takes place today (Sept. 12) from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Jeep experts will also be on hand at the event, and the Jeep Jamboree USA organization also is offering five $1,000 scholarships for participating active duty military personnel, via an essay contest.
Trail rides during the jamboree run from 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. each day.
Owned and operated by Cullman County Parks and Recreation, the Stony Lonesome OHV Park is located at 10075 Alabama Highway 69 South.
