Lake Catoma apartment fire

Cullman Firefighters and police officers remain on the scene of an apartment fire along U.S. 278 East by Lake Catoma.

The wooden structure did not show visible signs of damage on the outside, but firefighters were seen coming and going from an upstairs room. The fire was under control.

Traffic is slowed in both directions and motorists should be cautious approaching the area, which is across from the city’s water treatment plant.
