Board-certified Family Physician Carlos Villar, MD, has joined the Cullman Regional Family Care Clinic. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia and completed Medical School at Virginia Commonwealth University. He completed his post-doctoral training at St. Francis Family Medicine in Midlothian, VA.

Villar is most passionate about providing personalized care for all of his patients. He particularly enjoys preventative medicine for high blood pressure, high cholesterol and diabetes. Villar also specializes in child and adolescent medicine, stress-related disorders and is fluent in Spanish.

He will be treating patients in the new Cullman Regional Family Care Clinic located on Main Avenue SW. The Family Care Clinic treats all ages.

Villar resides in Cullman and enjoys spending time outdoors with his animals, camping and kayaking during his free time.

“I am a small town doctor and Cullman is the type of small town that is perfect for me,” said Villar. “Everyone here is super friendly and polite. I look forward to practicing in this community.”
