The Cullman Lioness Club has awarded scholarships to area graduates.

Students applied for the scholarships by submitting letters of recommendation along with an essay describing why they felt they deserved to earn the scholarship. Community service and Leo affiliation are weighted heavily in the selection process as well as the student’s future career and service plans.

This year’s winners are Mary Katherine Stanford, Blake Spradlin, Macie Burgin and Abigail West.
