Korean War veterans

The City of Fultondale hosted a ceremony on Tuesday to honor Korean War veterans. The ceremony honors the 69th anniversary of the beginning of the war.

Mayor Jim Lowery opened the ceremony, saying he believed the Korean veterans were the least appreciated and honored by citizens. After Lowery’s introduction, Alicia Germany sang the national anthem and local ministers from Fultondale First Baptist and Church of the Highlands prayed for the city and the veterans.
