Firefighters worked to put out a fire at the Sunflour Bakery & Eatery on County Road 222 near Interstate 65 in Cullman on Thursday night.

Law enforcement closed the road between Cherokee Avenue Southwest and Interstate 65.

Owner Amanda Quattlebaum told Cullman Today that it wasn’t clear how much damage the fire has caused.

She said all special orders for this weekend won’t be able to be filled. Quattlebaum apologized for any inconvenience this may cause customers. The bakery will be closed until further notice. Customers can contact Quattlebaum at 256-708-2100.
