(Update) 12-year-old identified in Smith Lake accident

ALEA Marine Patrol Troopers continue to investigate Saturday’s boat crash that claimed the life of 12-year-old Christian Hart from Vinemont. Investigators say he was killed when he was hit by a boat near the Goat Island area of Smith Lake. Hart had been tubing in the area prior to the crash.

 Marine Patrol investigators continue to gather information.
