Good Hope falls to Alabama Christian Academy 7-2

MONTGOMERY — Good Hope fell to top-ranked Alabama Christian Academy 7-2 in the first round of the Class 4A state softball tournament at Lagoon Park.

The No. 7 Lady Raiders (32-10) will face No. 5 American Christian Academy later Friday in an elimination game.

Good Hope scored once in the third inning on an error and again in the seventh inning following an RBI single by Bailey Swann.

Swann, Sidnie English, KaiLee Shikle and Morgan Goodwin had one hit apiece for the Lady Raiders.
