Interstate work begins Monday

The Alabama Department of Transportation crews will be repairing guardrails next week at various locations on Interstate 65 in Cullman County.

The work will be between Exit 299 (Alabama 69 in Dodge City) and the Morgan County line.

Work will take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, Monday through Wednesday, weather permitting.

The work areas include milepost 317 southbound, milepost 299 northbound, milepost 301 northbound, and milepost 317 northbound. Single-lane closures will be implemented during work hours. 

Delays can be expected each day and motorists should be prepared to merge and reduce speed, will on the lookout for workers and equipment.
