Carrie Ward almost doesn’t have enough hands to carry all the hardware she picked up on her trip across the graduation stage in 2018. The Wallace State Nursing graduate and Allied Health Presidential Award winner earned some of the college’s highest academic honors for the class of 2018, joining hundreds of other WSCC students in commencement exercises at the Tom Drake Coliseum.

Wallace State Community College and President Vicki Karolewics will host Commencement Exercises on Friday, May 10, 2019, at Tom Drake Coliseum, starting at 6 p.m. More than 700 students are expected to participate in the ceremony, and more than 1,800 will earn degrees and certificates as the Class of 2019.

Alabama Community College System Chancellor Jimmy Baker is scheduled to speak at the event.
