Fairview’s varsity girls golf team finished second in the Class 4A-5A, Section 4 Tournament on Tuesday.
Randolph (224) captured the top prize followed by Fairview (281), Good Hope (300) and Russellville (301).
Brileigh Roberts, Lauren Lawson and Lexy Gambrill notched the counting scores for the Lady Aggies at Point Mallard, while Taryn Collins, Julee Turner and Violet Owens did the same for the Lady Raiders.
Fairview and Good Hope advance to next week’s sub-state round, which takes place Tuesday at Silver Lakes.
Good Hope’s boys also advanced after finishing fourth in the 4A, Section 3 Tournament on Monday.
The Raiders carded a team total of 392 at Limestone Springs.
Colby Watson, Ben Hunter, Eli Phares and Tripp Taylor contributed the counting scores.
