A new brewery and restaurant may be coming to the City of Good Hope, and the Good Hope City Council will consider an economic development agreement that would give a tax incentive to help it get off the ground.
Preston Prewett, doing business as Twisted Dixie, LLC, has requested economic development assistance to open a brewery, restaurant and distillery in the city limits. If the agreement is passed, the incentive will be for up to $72,000 from the city’s hard liquor tax revenue that is generated by the brewery that will be paid out over a maximum of five years.

The public is invited to attend the meeting or submit a written opinion to Good Hope City Hall, located at 135 Municipal Drive.
Any written opinions or comments must be delivered to the Good Hope City Clerk by noon Thursday to be considered.
