Mackenzie Lawrence clobbered a walk-off RBI double against Holly Pond on Tuesday to lift Vinemont to a 5-4 win.

With the matchup tied at 4-all in the bottom of the seventh inning, the Lady Eagles went to work.

Desiree Drake claimed a one-out single before Brooklyn Knott and Maddie Oliver drew back-to-back walks to load the bases for the home team.

A strikeout then brought Lawrence up to the plate with two outs and the game on the line.

And she delivered in the clutch with a line drive to the right-field fence.

Lawrence finished with two hits and three RBIs. 

She also earned the win, striking out five and allowing just one hit over the final two innings.

Maci Smith (two RBIs), Maddie Oliver (RBI) and Emilie Hoffman contributed two hits apiece.

One of Oliver’s hits was a solo home run.

Makayla Noblett and Desiree Drake totaled one hit apiece, while Berkley Gable provided an RBI.

Lexy Smith led the Lady Broncos with three hits and one RBI.

Kaylee Stallings (RBI), Emili Perry (RBI) Kalliann Perkins and Ciera James netted two hits apiece.

Madyson Rickman and Taylor Simmons rounded out the offensive performance with one hit apiece.
