The Cullman County School Board has requested additional funding from the Cullman County Commission.

In a special called meeting Tuesday morning, the board passed a resolution to request  funding from the County Commission, and board President Heath Allbright said the request is for funding that will be used for facilities and school safety.

“We just need more funding,” he said. “It’s important to make our schools as good as we can and as safe as we can.”
