ARCHERY: Vinemont Elementary, Cullman Middle win titles at North Alabama Pre-Regional Warm-Up

Vinemont Elementary and Cullman Middle won their respective titles at the North Alabama Pre-Regional Warm-Up, which took place at Cullman High School this weekend.
Vinemont Elementary scored 3,100 points at the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) competition to triumph over runner-up East Elementary (3,046) by 54 points. Welti Elementary (2,310) placed fourth.
Tucker Robinson (274), Riley Bramley (269), Cheston Wilhite (268), Jayden Friedrich (261), Clairebeth Johnson (258), Emily Coats (257), Karson Adamson (256), Ethan Rabren (254), Andrew Landreth (253), Emma Hathaway (252), Nathan Watson (250) and Jagger Lee (248) provided the counting scores for the Eagles.
Bramley was the top archer in the elementary female division.
Robinson, meanwhile, finished second overall in the elementary male division.
Cullman (3,318) edged Vinemont (3,280) to win the middle school competition.
Fairview (2,987) gathered a third-place finish, while Holly Pond (2,959), Good Hope (2,791) and Sacred Heart (2,633) placed fourth, sixth and seventh, respectively.
Brinley Hurt (288), Will Bolzle (282), Maddie Lindsey (281), Arianna Scott (279), Briana Willoughby (279), Evan Dockery (276), Ayla White (275), Hayden Scott (275), Ava Flores (273), Cole Carden (273), Ashlyn Danecker (271) and Carson Starnes (266) were the top 12 archers for the Bearcats.
Vinemont’s Savannah Mann (289) had the best score across all female divisions.
She edged teammate Alexis Sartin (288) and Hurt for the top spot.
Bolzle, meanwhile, notched the best score in the male middle school division.
He tied with Vinemont’s Dawson Wilhite but won the tiebreaker with 15 tens to 14.
Ashville (3,277) clipped West Point (3,270) and Cullman (3,262) for the high school title.
Vinemont (3,210), Good Hope (3,087) and Holly Pond (3,029) snagged fourth, sixth and seventh, respectively.
Cullman’s Kilie Cosper (286) finished second in the high school female division.
Fairview’s Tucker Bennett (281) finished fourth in the high school male division.
Both were the top local performers in their respective divisions.
Marshall County Tournament
East Elementary and Cullman Middle claimed their respective titles at the Marshall County Tournament, which took place in Guntersville last Thursday.
