2 dead, 1 hurt in shooting near recreation center

TUSCUMBIA (AP) — Two people have died and a third person was hurt in a shooting near a recreation center in northern Alabama.
News outlets reported the shooting happened Wednesday afternoon in Tuscumbia.
Police Chief Tony Logan said the shooting was originally reported as a wreck. Officers found a man shot inside a car. The man was taken to a hospital in Tupelo, Mississippi, where he died.
Another man was found dead in some woods near the car. Police think he had been shot in the car.
Another man was taken to a hospital in Sheffield and then transferred to Birmingham.
The names of those involved have not been released. Police have not released details on what they think happe4ned, but Logan said investigators are not looking for a suspect.
