Rock N Roll Sushi opens in Cullman

Rock N Roll Sushi welcomed a large, lively crowd for a soft opening Tuesday in Cullman, marking the 30th franchise for the company.

Local franchise owners Lee and Brooke Black and Keith and Tina Aldijaili greeted customers beginning at noon in the new location at 1900 Market Platz Center SW. Menus are salvaged album covers, ranging from Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers to Def Leppard.

Joe Ragsdale, a co-owner of the company and Cullman native, was also on hands as the restaurant prepares for its official opening Wednesday at 11 a.m. RNR Sushi will be open to 9 p.m. each night, except Friday and Saturday until 10 p.m.

Besides a full menu of sushi, the restaurant features a wide variety of choices that are traditional as well as some new creations. A full bar menu is also available, including Goat Island beer on tap.
