Here are a few services scheduled for Christmas. 

Midnight Mass at St. Bernard Abbey

The monks of St. Bernard Abbey will celebrate the birth of Christ with midnight Mass at 12 a.m., Dec. 25. in the Abbey Church. It’s best to arrive by 11:45 p.m., Dec. 24. 

In addition to the Midnight Mass, later that morning at 10:30, the Mass of Christmas Day will be celebrated. The public is invited to these services. 

Grace Episcopal Church services

The public is invited to all services during the holiday and anytime.

Sunday: 8 a.m. Lighting the Advent candle 

10:30 a.m.: Lighting the Advent candle

Monday, Christmas Eve services:

5 p.m. & 10 p.m.

 First United Methodist Church, Cullman

Two worship opportunities Christmas Eve: 5 p.m. in Hearin Hall; 7 p.m. in the Sanctuary 

Both services are casual come-as-you-are, and include familiar carols and a message of hope, Holy Communion, and a closing in candlelight.

First Baptist Church of Cullman

Carols and Communion by candlelight services Dec. 24.

Services are at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.

 Saint Andrews United Methodist Church

Dec. 24, service at 5 p.m.

 Temple Baptist Church

Today, 5 p.m.; Sunday, Dec. 23, at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. 

 Desperation Church
