Santa makes early visit to Cullman, returns tonight

- Kids at Childhaven and all across Cullman got a visit from Santa (and even a contrite, reformed Grinch) during their whirlwind pre-Christmas tour of the city Friday. Staged by members of the Cullman Fire Department, team Santa embarked from fire station no. 3 and rode through town aboard a holiday-blinged fire engine, spreading Christmas tidings ahead of the long holiday weekend.
Santa Claus visited Cullman Friday with the help of Cullman Fire and Rescue.
On Saturday, Santa will be riding in fire engines throughout the city to check on boys and girls, according to Cullman Fire and Rescue.
Look for Santa, 4-9 p.m., in the passenger seat of the fire engine. The ride will be south of 278, visiting as many neighborhoods as possible.
