Cullman police and other responders remain at the scene of a fatal accident at 24th Street and Cherokee Avenue.

Police Officer Joey Duncan said northbound lanes of Cherokee Avenue are closed, while one southbound lane is open. He also said both west bound lanes of 24th Street are closed, and one westbound lane is open.

He said the lanes will remain closed until the investigation and removal of wreckage is complete.

One person is dead and two are injured following the wreck.
