- Tree Lighting in Cullman
Sure, it literally rained on the parade, but a little moisture couldn’t deter hundreds from turning out Friday for the Christmas in Cullman parade and tree lighting in the Warehouse District, sponsored by Cullman Parks and Recreation.
A steady downpour just made the parade’s track along First Avenue, from the Busy Bee Café to Depot Park, more memorable for those who braved the weather. And the skies even cleared, a little, for the tree lighting ceremony that followed at the park.
With more rain on the horizon today, Park and Rec is taking the Christmas activity indoors for day two of the annual Holly Market Christmas Arts and Crafts show.
More than 80 vendors will be on hand until 3 p.m. today at the Cullman Civic Center, showing off unique and handmade goods that you can take home in time for the holidays. Admission to Holly Market is free.
