Anthem Lights adds new level of entertainment for parade, tree lighting

The annual Christmas In Cullman Parade and Tree Lighting are returning, but with a bonus for the crowds who don’t the seasonal cool temperatures.

One of the entertainment world’s rising stars, Anthem Lights, will perform following the tree lighting ceremony.

“Anthem Lights has built a huge following on YouTube and has well over a million listeners on music streaming services,” said Nathan Anderson, director of Cullman Parks, Recreation & Sports Tourism.

Tickets for the Anthem Lights performance are $10 and can be ordered in advance to ensure seating at http://bit.ly/anthemcullman.

The show begins at 7 p.m., Nov. 30, at Depot Park after the tree lighting. 

A four-member vocal group, Anthem Lights has gained more than 147 million views on YouTube and 1.4 million monthly listeners from streaming services. Members include Caleb Grimm, Chad Graham, Spencer Kane and Joey Stamper. Their music ranges from reinventions of pop hits to hymns.

The parade starts at 6 p.m. through downtown Cullman. The tree lighting is scheduled for 6:45 p.m., followed by the concert which is expected to last until 9 p.m.

Earlier on Nov. 30, the annual Holly Market Christmas Arts & Crafts Show will begin at 9 a.m. at the Cullman Civic Center and is sponsored by Parks & Rec. Eighty booths featuring handmade arts and crafts will be set up for the two-day event with proceeds benefiting Therapeutic Recreation programs.

The Holly Market hours at 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Nov. 30, and 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Dec. 1.

Admission is free and visitors may also have their photo taken with Santa Claus on Saturday for free while enjoying shopping, kids’ crafts and live music.
