- Officer Kyle Foshee is honored for his actions that led to the arrest of two women suspected of being involved in a North Alabama financial scam.
Vaping will now fall under the Clean Air Act following a unanimous vote of the Cullman City Council on Monday.
Dr. Scott Warner of Cullman recommended the move to the City Council at the Sept. 25 meeting, citing information from the Surgeon General that electronic cigarettes contain harmful ingredients.
The ordinance forbids smoking tobacco products inside public buildings and requires that smokers not be in the doorways outside a business while using tobacco, and now vaping.
The Clean Air Act still allows businesses some choices about the use of tobacco indoors.
