The accident occurred before 10 a.m. when the vehicle driven by Sarah Aldridge, 41, of Moulton, hydroplaned in the southbound lane, and struck an 18-wheeler carrying steel coils.
Cullman County Coroner Jeremy Kilpatrick said both vehicles went off a 30-foot embankment with the 18-wheeler landing on top of the car.
