Fairview’s volleyball team won the West End Tournament last Saturday following a 5-0 performance.

The Class 4A No. 4 Lady Aggies (39-12) defeated Sardis (25-19, 26-24), Cherokee County (25-19, 25-16) and Etowah (25-13, 25-7) in pool play to advance to the gold bracket.

Fairview then beat Holly Pond (25-20, 26-24) in the semifinals and Southside-Gadsden (21-25, 25-23, 15-11) in the championship match to secure the title.

Daisy Manasco (47 kills, 15 digs, six blocks and three aces), Tess Bailey (34 kills, 13 blocks, 10 digs and six aces), Katie Ball (26 kills, 17 digs, five aces and three blocks), Alivia Boyll (51 assists, 10 digs, seven aces, four kills and three blocks), Micah Means (50 assists, seven kills, six digs, three aces and one block) and Isabella McGukin (nine digs, five kills, four blocks and two aces) netted the top contributions for the Lady Aggies in the tournament.
