Police lights

Authorities are investigating after a train collided with an SUV Tuesday evening.

The incident happened at the County Road 715 crossing next to Cullman Jefferson Gas.

The driver of the vehicle was transported to UAB.

The cause of the wreck is still unknown.

Officers on the scene say the driver was alert and talking.

No other injuries were reported.
