A Cullman woman charged with two counts of capital murder in the deaths of a Birmingham couple has been returned by authorities to Alabama.

Al.com reported Wednesday that Kristen Guillon, 30, was booked into the Jefferson County Jail on Tuesday afternoon. She is being held without bond on the murder charges from a burglary in the Aug. 2 deaths of Mary and Steve Holt of Birmingham.

Her boyfriend, Zachary Phillips, 23, of Marshall County, is also charged in the Holts’ deaths. Al.com reported he was still in the Miami-Dade County Jail pending extradition. Gullion and Phillips share a young son.

The Holts’ bodies were found at 3:50 p.m. Aug. 2 when East Precinct officers responded to the 8700 block of Ninth Court Circle South after they were notified about a child wandering the street alone. A neighbor said her front door was open that Thursday afternoon when the little girl came to her house, and that she was covered in blood and crying out for her grandparents.

Birmingham officers arrived at the scene and were led to the grandparents’ bodies by the child.
