Bernard Blues and BBQ ready for round two

Published 5:21 pm Saturday, September 8, 2018

Day one of the Bernard Blues and BBQ festival brought the crowds out Saturday to the grounds of St. Bernard Abbey — especially in the morning, before the afternoon’s college football schedule became a priority for many — setting up the second and final day of the event, with more food, music and fun on tap for Sunday.

Gate open again Sunday at 9 a.m., welcoming guests until this year’s festival concludes at 5 p.m. On tap for musical entertainment today are Sweet Licks at 10 a.m., followed by De Ja’ Blue Horns at noon and Bama Blu-Grace at 2 p.m.
