- Harlow Rice and Gracie the Boston Terrier spent some quality time hanging out in Cullman’s Warehouse District for this month’s 2nd Fridays street party, along with Eddie Rice, Harlow’s grandpa and Susan and Michael Smith, right.
Downtown Cullman will come alive once again this Friday evening, marking the return of 2nd Fridays, the annual summer-long series of street parties that’s proven a big draw for both locals and out-of towners.
Presented by the Cullman Area Chamber of Commerce and Cullman Parks, Recreation, & Sports Tourism, streets along Cullman’s Warehouse District and surrounding areas will close Friday afternoon for the free, pedestrian-friendly family event. The hugely popular classic and antique car show will be back, along with live music, a 10 p.m. closing time for the Festhalle Farmers Market, and much more.
The music will come from three stages spread across the streetscape, accompanied by two kids’ zones, as well as all the food, shopping, arts, crafts, and games that guests have come to expect. Organizers encourage visitors to bring their own lawn chairs and plan to stay a while. As always, admission to 2nd Fridays is free.
