The wife of Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound Sunday, according to story from AL.com.

The news organization cited a report from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, where Bridgette Marshall was staying in an apartment at Puckett Creek Crossing.

Marshall’s office announced today that the attorney general and family members will hold an 11 a.m. press conference at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Albertville.
