Sylas Elliott fired a 3-under par round of 69 on Sunday to win the Buck Shear Memorial at Cross Creek Golf Course.
In doing so, the former Cullman, Wallace State and South Alabama standout claimed the tournament title for the fourth time in the past six years.
Elliott missed the 2017 rendition due to back surgery.
“I’m proud of my performance and how I’ve recovered,” he said. “It was a pretty long road, but I fought through it. My swing is more consistent than it’s ever been, and I’m looking forward to seeing where it takes me in the future.”
Elliott, who shot an opening-round 65, won the annual event by six strokes.
Dustin Schwaiger (140) was second followed by Chase Kennedy and J.J. Adams (143) in third.
Hunter McKelvy and Luke Wilson (146) rounded out the championship flight.
Kevin Byrd took home the top prize in the first flight following a two-day total of 146. Mike Pitts (155) dominated the second flight, while Buddy Shear (164) finished ahead of the pack in the third flight.
Bryan Haynes (Senior) and Bob Kurtz (Super Senior) won their respective divisions as well. Haynes fired a two-day total of 153, while Kurtz compiled a 151.
