City School Board awards roof contracts, welcomes new personnel

Repairs for Cullman City schools damaged by the March 19 hailstorm can get underway after the Cullman City School Board awarded bids for the projects.
Porter Roofing Contractors, Inc. from Morrison, Tenn. was contracted for roof replacement at West Elementary School and Cullman’s Willoughby Roofing was awarded the bid for East Elementary’s roof replacement.

Approved the Head Start 2017-18 Supplemental Budget Application for a 2.6 percent cost of living allowance in the amount of $24,482
Approved a consulting agreement between Cullman City Head Start and Essential Elements, LLC to provide technical and training services (Head Start Funds)
