Man faces drug charge after traffic incident

A police chase in Cullman ended Tuesday with a wrecked motorcycle and a drug charge against the driver.
Members of the Cullman Police Department Crime Suppression Unit attempted to stop a driver on a black Harley Davidson motorcycle because of an expired tag. The driver, David Jerry Reynolds, attempted to jump a ditch and wrecked the motorcycle, according to information provided by the Cullman Police Department.
Reynolds was charged with unlawful intent to distribute a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and attempting to elude a law enforcement officer.
Reynolds was out of bond at the time on a charge of trafficking meth at the time of the arrest. He was booked at the Cullman County Detention Center and made bond, according to police.
