Belgreen netted two runs in the bottom half of the frame to cut its deficit to 3-2, but the Lady Bulldogs soon made it 6-2 in the second inning following big-time hits by Gaither (RBI single) and Luker (two-run double).

Gaither and Aderholt whacked run-scoring singles in the fourth inning as well to extend the advantage to 9-2, but the opposing team wouldn’t go quietly.

Chambless (two hits and one RBI), Laken Tyree (two hits) and Lexie Cunningham (one hit) all contributed as well in the winning effort.
