The Cullman County Sports Hall of Fame’s 19th class was officially installed last Saturday night during the organization’s annual banquet at the Civic Center.
Chairman Jackie Satterfield regaled those in attendance — the room was packed with sensational athletes and coaches, both past and present — with jokes and stories as one of the area’s most time-honored groups ushered in this year’s selection of deserving honorees.
Members of the 2018 class included Lisa Hearin Alexander (Cullman), Pat Bryant (Cullman), Windell Calloway (Fairview), Patrick Cleghorn (West Point), Phillip Mabry (Vinemont), Stan Narewski (At Large — Wallace State), Donald Reid (Holly Pond), Chad Shannon (Cullman), Rodney Terry (Hanceville), Rodney Trimble (Good Hope) and Tommy Youngblood (Cold Springs).
