Four sixth-grade students from West Elementary qualified for the National History Bee in Atlanta June 1-2. Earlier in the year, the Scholar’s Bowl team did an online exam, and all qualified for the regional competition.

The students then competed in the regionals at Hoover High School with four students from the group qualifying for the upcoming national competition.

The four student qualifying are Rees Sheffield, Caden Hornsby, Drew Williamson and Clay Bonds.

The team is sponsored by Nancy Robinson.
