Beloved coach killed in car crash Sunday morning

Mortimer Jordan volleyball coach Kelsey Treadaway, 31, daughter of state representative Allen Treadaway was killed in an early-morning crash on I-65 in Cullman County.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Treadaway was killed and her passenger injured when her car and another collided. The passenger has been identified by sources as Mortimer Jordan head softball coach Shawn Maze.
There were no injuries in the other vehicle and troopers continue to investigate the accident.
The community plans to gather for prayer at Enon Baptist Church in Morris at 5 p.m. Sunday evening.
