Cullman police said they arrested a local man on drug charges this week.

Gary Wayne Goodwin, 53, of Cullman was charged Tuesday with two counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. The police department’s Crime Suppression Unit arrested Goodwin for selling methamphetamine and pills, said Cullman police Sgt. Chris Thomason. 

Goodwin was out on bond at the time of the arrest, and he was transported to the Cullman County Detention Center where he remained incarcerated Friday, Thomason said.
