City firefighters extinguish Cullman apartment fire with no injuries reported

- Cullman Fire Rescue at the scene of an apartment fire Saturday.
A Cullman apartment caught fire this afternoon, but firefighters extinguished the blaze with no reported injuries.
Cullman Fire Rescue firefighters responded to the fire at an apartment building at 1601 Second Way N.E. A fire from an apartment unit on the first floor spread to the second, but firefighters quickly knocked down the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
