ASWA RANKINGS: Holly Pond’s boys surge to No. 5 in Class 3A poll

For the second straight week, Holly Pond’s varsity boys are on the rise.

The Broncos jumped two spots once again, surging from seventh to fifth in the Class 3A poll when the Alabama Sports Writers Association released its latest basketball rankings on Wednesday night.

Holly Pond (21-3) has won 19 of its past 20 games.

Cullman’s boys (6A), Fairview’s girls (5A) and West Point’s girls (5A) stayed in the others nominated section for another week.
