Efforts are continuing to restore service in Terri Pines after a gas line was accidentally cut earlier Sunday.

Cullman Fire Rescue and Cullman Jefferson Gas have been at the scene on Waterford Drive to ensure safety after a fire ignited.

Fire Chief Brian Bradberry said there was no exposure to residents. He said work had been underway on a water line when the accident occurred.

He said the gas line is small and expects service to be restored by Sunday evening.
