Cullman, Hanceville warming stations remain open

The Donald E. Green Senior in Cullman and City Hall in Hanceville are open as warming stations as freezing temperatures continue across the area.

The Cullman County Volunteer Organizations Active in Disasters (VOAD) and Cullman Parks & Recreation are helping with the warming center, which will remain open until 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, according to a news release from the mayor’s office in Cullman.

Meals will not be served. Enter through the gymnasium at the rear of the building. 

The City of Hanceville reports its warming center will remain open until further notice. Meals also will not be served at that location.

Entrance is through the police department at the rear of the building.
