PREP VOLLEYBALL ROUNDUP: Addison, Good Hope earn area tournament titles; Cold Springs, St. Bernard advance

Addison and Good Hope won their respective area tournament titles on Monday, while Cold Springs and St. Bernard also advanced to the North Super Regional Tournament in Huntsville later this week.
Cullman, meanwhile, saw its season come to an end.

Class 1A, Area 12 Tournament
The top-ranked Lady Bulldogs defeated Brilliant in the semifinals (25-10, 25-7, 25-10) before surging past No. 2 Meek in the championship match (22-25, 25-13, 25-13, 25-13) to punch their ticket to the North Super Regional Tournament, where they’ll take on Area 16 runner-up Cherokee Thursday at 2 p.m.
Addison, which improved to 44-8 this season, was led by Abbie Chambless (25 kills, 16 digs, five blocks and two aces), Savannah Manley (14 kills, six blocks, four aces and four digs), Cecilee Gaither (42 assists, 13 digs and 10 aces), Tess Alvis (eight kills, four digs and two blocks), Allie Chambless (10 kills, two digs, two blocks and two aces), Kendra Tyree (19 digs and five aces), and McKenzie Berry (19 kills, six digs and four blocks).
Class 2A, Area 10 Tournament
The Lady Eagles took down Tarrant in the semifinals (25-6, 25-17, 25-6) before falling to Altamont (25-17, 25-9, 25-15) in the championship match on Monday afternoon.

Cold Springs is scheduled to take on Area 10 champion Tanner at the North Super Regional Tournament on Thursday at 10:15 a.m.
Class 2A, Area 13 Tournament
The Lady Saints swept Falkville in the semifinals before falling to Tanner (25-15, 25-11, 25-16) in the championship match on Monday.

Class 4A, Area 10 Tournament
The Lady Raiders defeated Cordova 25-20, 25-22, 25-16 to secure their area tournament crown on Monday.
