The Gardendale High School student section looks on as their Rockets open the 2017 season in Driver Stadium on August 25. 

A decision has not been made on the Gardendale-James Clemens football game, which was originally scheduled for Thursday night in Madison City Schools Stadium and postponed due to poor weather conditions.

The Class 6A Rockets will eventually visit Class 7A No. 5 James Clemens for a non-region contest. Details surrounding the time and location of Friday’s game are unclear at this time, as Bob Jones and Austin are scheduled to play in Madison City Schools Stadium Friday night.

Madison City Schools Superintendent Robby Parker took to Twitter: “We are working on rescheduling plans for the JC vs Gardendale game. Details will be sent in the next couple of hours.”
