The Wildcats Bowl between Class 3A Fultondale and Class 2A Tarrant was originally scheduled for Thursday, August 31.

Earlier today Fultondale head coach Richie Busby confirmed that the rivalry game has been moved from Thursday to Friday night, due to poor weather conditions. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Wildcats Field in Fultondale.

This cross-classification test will serve as the 2017 season opener for both teams.
